Grant Strategy and Proposal Writing for Non-Profit Organizations

Resource Development Network, LLC, established in 1990, is a team of grant consultants with offices in New Jersey and New York City. Our area of specialization is proposal writing for youth, social service,  affordable housing and education organizations in New York and New Jersey.

Our Philosophy

We believe that non-profit charitable organizations have a unique and powerful role to play in meeting the needs of individuals, families and communities in the United States today. As grant consultants, we seek to assist our clients by developing proposals that illustrate how the needs of the community and the giving priorities of grantmakers are in alignment.

How We Work

We typically work on a year-round basis. First we research available grants, then we create compelling grant proposal narratives, prepare attachments and submit the proposals. We monitor when reports and renewals are due using a grant calendar and work with you to be sure no deadlines are missed.

Our Value to You

  • Economy: Following the trend of the "virtual" office, our firm utilizes a network of computers, the internet, telephones and faxes in the homes of each of our team members. We have eliminated the need for expensive, prime-location offices, receptionists, etc. Our low overhead means lower fund raising costs for you.
  • Flexibility: We can offer you full-time or part-time services, on an on-going or project-by-project basis. We also have the ability to expand our team as needed to cope with heavy deadlines and one-time special needs.
  • Standby Expertise: Executive Directors and Directors of Development have found our services especially useful at busy times of the year - when you are focusing on the annual gala or direct mail campaign, our firm can keep the proposal writing tasks on schedule until your staff can focus on it again.
  • Collaborating Consultants: Our network of collaborating consultants enables us to call upon some of the best in the field as your needs change in the areas of planned giving, direct mail, fiscal management, websites, branding, online donations, strategic planning, newsletter production, major gifts, and capital campaigns.
